It never fails, this economy has become so bad that now I wonder each week who will be next. What furniture store will I pick up next week? Well the answer for this week is Giant Furniture. This huge furniture store has finally given way to the harsh reality that it wasn’t going to make it through this economy and so we are going to liquidate thier assets. It alarms me how damaging this economy has been to the furniture industry. It’s as if domino’s are falling and they won’t stop until that last one tumbles over. I feel bad for the store owner that are giving up on their way of life and are now entering a job market full of even more bad news. In this, I find a silver lining for my customers. The beautiful furniture we have picked up over the past 9 months from 28 different stores is just waiting for the right person to come purchase it and put it in their home. The savings are incredible you will save sometimes 95% below retail and probably will pay less than the furniture store paid for it to begin with. The auction is back to their regularly scheduled Friday night auction this week. We hope everyone enjoyed the fourth of July holiday as much as we did, but now it’s back to work. Phoenix Furniture Auction is proud to finally announce the arrival of Patio Furniture to our auction this Friday night. Everyone has asked us for patio furniture for so long and the patio distributors will not sell to us because they know we are going to sell the inventory for far less than their retailers.
