How the Auction Works

Previewing

All items are available for preview on the day of the auction. Previewing begins at noon on Friday and continues through the conclusion of the auction. Large items like bedroom and living room furniture are displayed on the main showroom floor, many with bedding and accessories for a feel of how the item will look in the home. Small items like rugs and decor are displayed on tables and large displays right in front of the auction block for maximum crowd exposure.

Register

Registration begins at noon on Friday and continues through the conclusion of the auction. You can pre-register on-site by completing our registration application. (If you register before 5pm we will reserve seating for you) In order to receive a bid number and participate in the auction we require a $50 refundable cash deposit. You must register as a bidder to participate in the auction.

If you purchase an item at the auction your deposit will be applied to your bill.

If you do not purchase an item simply go to our registration area turn in your bid card and we will return your $50 deposit.

Bid

Find a seat and prepare for the auction to begin.
Wait for your previewed item to be auctioned or select items as they come up. When you want to bid on an item being offered, listen to the auctioneer, agree with the purchase bid and hold up your bidding number. Our friendly auction staff will take your bid. The last bid will be announced and the auctioneer will say “ SOLD! For $_________ to bidder number _______.”

If at any time you are unclear please ask one of our staff members for advice. We are here to make the bidding process as fun and rewarding as possible.

Please arrive early to get a good seat and ensure that you are here when your item comes up for bid

Settle

Buyers can check out at any time during or at the end of the auction. All items purchased by you must be paid for at time of checkout. We accept most major credit cards,  debit cards and cash. We do not accept checks at thsi time. Please remember all sales are final and item(s) are sold “As Is”. There are no refunds or exchanges after item(s) are sold.

A 10% Buyers Premium will be added to the sale of an item. Example if you purchase an item for $100 your total cost will be $110 plus applicable sales tax. What is a Buyer’s Premium? A tool that Auctioneers use to defray the cost of the auction onto those who benefit from it, You – The Customer.
